 You will be received by our official at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) – He will assist you for the forwarding journey to Kalimpong  - From Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) the drive is approximately 95 Kilometers and is nearly 03 - 03½ hours drive by road – If picked from Pakyong Airport (PYG)  the distance is 60 Kilometers and nearly 02 - 2½ hours drive  by road -  Kalimpong - Kalimpong is a peaceful hill station in the Indian state of West Bengal - Kalimpong is perched on a ridge above the Teesta River, it’s home to colonial-era buildings like MacFarlane Memorial Church, named after a Scottish missionary - South, the hilltop Durpin Monastery, or Zang Dhok Palri Phodang, contains sacred Buddhist scriptures – It is located at an average elevation of 1250 metres i.e. 4101 feet - The town is the headquarters of the Kalimpong district - The town centre is on a ridge connecting two hills, Deolo Hill and Durpin Hill - Until the mid-19th century, the area around Kalimpong was ruled in succession by the Sikkimese and Bhutanese kingdoms - In the evening one is free to stroll around local Market - Back to Hotel / Resort - Over night stay at kalimpong

 

 Early morning have breakfast and drive to Gangtok – There is an option of visiting Rumtek Monastery – Guests can add this visit in their Itinerary well before the package is finalized – Next drive to Kalimpong - It is approximately 85 kilometers and nearly 03 - 03½ hours drive by road – Forwarding journey to Gangtok – Gangtok became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975 - Land of monastery and with mystic rituals / festivals is situated at an elevation of 1,437 meters i.e. 4,715 feet is the most often visited spot of India for its rare Orchids and Butterflies - Gangtok, the exotic capital city of Sikkim, is a Buddhist haven - In sync with the Zen philosophy that divinity can only make its way through clear and clean surroundings, Gangtok is an epitome of neatness and is one of the few such places in India - The stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped Mount Kanchenjunga, only add to the Gangokian environs - – The rest of the day is free - Evening one is free to stroll around M G Road or the Local Market - Over night stay at Gangtok

 

Early morning breakfast – Permits are made one day prior to visit - This is nearly 48 kilometers drive and takes nearly 2 hours - Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake and Baba Mandir, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty – Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lakes of the region - A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place - Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen – (Nathu La Pass visit has to be arranged the previous Night when Voters ID card will be asked for – Nathu La Pass once booked the amount is not refunded even if the trip get canceled. Nathula Pass supplement of Rs.4,000/- has to be paid on the spot as it is not included in the final costing) Back to hotel for lunch or lunch on the way – The rest of the day is free - Evening one is free to stroll around M G Road or the Local Market - Overnight stay at Gangtok

 

 

Early Morning breakfast - Next the driver will assist you for the forwarding journey to  Darjeeling   It is approximately 65 kilometers and is nearly 02½ - 03 hours drive by road – The road is scenic with River Teesta Crossing, Forest, Tea Estate and view of Namchi & Himalayan range if the sky is cklear -  The drive is via Peshok View point and Lamahata - Darjeeling - At an elevation of 2123 meters / 70001 feet, the land of breathtaking beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas popularly known as the Queen of the hills - Jewel in the crown of the Eastern Himalayas with mesmerizing beauty offers spectacular views of the Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga and the rest of spectacular Himalayan range  - This “Mecca of Tea” with over 80 operational tea gardens spread across acres of land - The tourist places in Darjeeling will leave a traveler mesmerized and awed with the beauty that the place offers - Check in to hotel – Next stroll to Mall and the local market, one can also visit pubs or bakery or some heritage studio like Das Studio – Back to hotel - Over night stay at hotel in Darjeeling

 

 

Early morning at around 03:45 AM drive to 8000 feet i.e. 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (Subject to clear weather) -  Its backdrop is Mount Kanchenjunga and the Himalayan range – A spectacular view from Tiger Hill - On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop [It is for the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway – A UNESCO Site] – Back to hotel for breakfast - After breakfast next round of sightseeing - Sightseeing includes  Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday),  Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo  Rock, Tibetan  Refugee Self  Help Center (Closed on Sunday) – A break for Lunch in between will be followed with rest of the Sightseeing - Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday  Closed), Peace Pagoda -  Back to hotel – Evening one can stroll to Mall and the local market, one can also visit pubs or bakery or some heritage studio like Das Studio – Back to hotel - Over night stay at hotel in Darjeeling

 

 

Early Morning breakfast and Next departure Transfer - Drive to Siliguri, on the way to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) - It is approximately 110 / 98 kilometers and is nearly 02½ - 03 hours drive by road – If the drop is at Pakyong Airport (PYG)  - It will be approximately 85 kilometers and is nearly 02½ - 03 hours drive by road - Morning breakfast - After breakfast transfer -  Via Mirik is 100 kilometers and is nearly 03 Hours drive with a stoppage at Samendhu lake – This route is noted for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate and on the way halt at Seemana for view  - Otherwise through Kurseong it is shorter distance – It is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling - Halt at Kurseong Tourist Lodge for Tea & Dumpling (Momo) - One will travel through the best Tea estate of the world – On the way there will be factory outlet where one can buy the world best Orthodox Tea for home & as a gift - Drive to  Pakyong Airport (PYG) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey
